Abstrak

Economics learning activities in schools are still commonly dominated by conventional teaching methods, causing students to be less active during the learning process. In addition, the use of digital learning media has not been maximized to support interactive classroom activities. This study aimed to identify differences in student learning outcomes between classes applying the Active Learning model assisted by Quizalize media and classes using conventional learning methods. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The samples consisted of an experimental class and a control class involving tenth-grade students at MAN 2 Bojonegoro. Data collection techniques included pretests, posttests, and documentation. Data were analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, independent sample t-tests, and N-Gain Score analysis. The findings revealed that students in the experimental class achieved better learning outcomes than those in the control class. Furthermore, the implementation of Quizalize created a more active, engaging, and enjoyable learning atmosphere, encouraging students to participate enthusiastically during classroom activities. Therefore, the Active Learning model assisted by Quizalize can be considered an innovative and effective alternative for Economics learning.
