Abstract

The purpose of this research is to assess, via empirical means, how well kids do academically when taught environmental variety using the CORE learning approach. The research used a one-group pretest-posttest design and was quantitative in nature, with an explanatory causal design. The study participants were 32 pupils from Class VII-A at SMP Negeri 1 Ngasem, chosen in a methodical manner. Learning outcome assessments, administered both before and after instruction, with supplementary documentation methods, were the backbone of the data gathering tools. With the use of SPSS 27 software, a paired sample t-test was used to evaluate hypotheses once the field data had been gathered. A considerable change in the score curve was shown by the descriptive analysis findings. The average score went from 46.56 on the pretest to 87.03 on the posttest. With a two-tailed significance level of 0.001, which is much lower than the threshold of 0.05, an inferentially computed t-value of 18.084 was discovered, which persuasively surpasses the essential t-value of 2.034. We officially reject the null hypothesis and adopt the alternative hypothesis (Ha) based on these mathematical facts. Therefore, as an adaptive teaching strategy, the CORE learning model is deserving of endorsement because of the substantial beneficial impact it has on students' learning outcomes.
