Abstract

The essence of Islamic boarding schools is not only teaching religious knowledge but also starting to develop by emphasizing educational teaching in the social, economic, agricultural and other spheres. Because the Islamic boarding school itself has a vision and mission, namely empowering students to become individuals who are human and useful for the nation and state. This study aims to analyze the form of critical attitudes of students at the Hidayatul Mubtadi'ien Sobontoro Balen Bojonegoro Islamic boarding school towards the issue of feudalism in Islamic boarding schools and the use of Pancasila values ​​as the basis in forming critical attitudes of students towards the issue of feudalism among Islamic boarding schools. By using qualitative methods and a phenomenological approach analyzed interactively, the results of the study show that the form of critical attitudes of students at the Hidayatul Mubtadi'ien Sobontoro Balen Bojonegoro Islamic boarding school towards the issue of feudalism in the Islamic boarding school environment emphasizes the openness of the Islamic boarding school both in the implementation of rules and policies. Students are also given the freedom of rights to voice their aspirations both in scientific discussions and structurally. Pancasila serves as the foundation for students' thinking and actions. Students are given the right to voice their aspirations for the common good. Although Islamic boarding schools possess traditions passed down through generations, these traditions are integrated with modern concepts to maintain harmony, relevance, and alignment.
