Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Round Table Terhadap Kemampuan Kolaborasi Siswa Dalam Pendidikan Pancasila
Abstract
Collaboration skills represent an essential manifestation of the values of mutual cooperation (gotong royong) and deliberation (musyawarah) in Pancasila Education, which have recently begun to diminish due to the dominance of conventional, teacher-centered learning methods. This study aims to analyze the effect of implementing the Round Table learning model on students' collaboration skills in Pancasila Education. Utilizing a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method, this study applied a pretest-posttest control group design. The research sample was selected using purposive sampling, dividing the subjects into an experimental class treated with the Round Table model and a control class taught using the conventional model. Data on collaboration skills were collected through self-assessment questionnaires and test scores, which were subsequently analyzed using the independent samples t-test and simple linear regression analysis. The results indicated a significant difference in collaboration skills between the two groups, whereby students taught with the Round Table model demonstrated a substantially better level of collaboration than those in the conventional class. Furthermore, the regression analysis proved that the Round Table model provides a positive and significant contribution to predicting the improvement of students' collaboration skills. This study concludes that the Round Table model is effective in stimulating equitable active contribution and training students' civic disposition.
