Efektivitas Penggunaan Padlet Berbasis Literasi Digital Terhadap Pemahaman Wawasan Kebangsaan Siswa
Abstract
This study was initiated to address the challenge of the scarcity of interactive digital media capable of enhancing students’ understanding of national identity. Conventional learning patterns dominated by teachers are considered to limit students’ opportunities for discussion and hinder their ability to utilize digital technology. Through the integration of Padlet based on digital literacy, this study aims to describe the learning process, evaluate the dynamics of students’ understanding, and test the effectiveness of the platform. The research approach is quantitative, employing an experimental design. The design employs a Pre-Experimental Design with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design applied to 31 students in Class XI-5 at Singgahan State High School 1. Data collection instruments include tests, observation sheets, and documentation. The collected data was then analyzed using SPSS version 29 software through a series of validity, reliability, and normality tests. Hypothesis testing utilized the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test and N-Gain calculations. The results of the data analysis demonstrated a significant improvement in student performance, with the pretest mean score of 73.39 increasing to 87.58 on the posttest. This significant difference was confirmed by the Wilcoxon test with a p-value < 0.001. Combined with an N-Gain of 57.59% (0.58), which meets the criteria for “moderately effective,” it can be concluded that the implementation of Padlet based on digital literacy successfully optimized students’ understanding of national identity.
