Pengaruh Pelaksanaan MBG terhadap Pendapatan Pedagang Sembako di Pasar Kliwon Sumberrejo
Abstract
The Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG) is a national policy introduced during President Prabowo Subianto’s administration to improve students’ nutritional quality through free nutritious meals in schools. This study aims to examine the effect of MBG implementation on the income of staple food traders at Kliwon Market, Sumberrejo, Bojonegoro Regency, which has seven active Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) kitchens. The study employed a quantitative approach using simple linear regression. Respondents consisted of 120 traders selected through total sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire with 15 valid items, including 7 items for variable X and 8 items for variable Y. Reliability testing produced a Cronbach’s Alpha value of 0.939, indicating excellent reliability. Data analysis included validity, reliability, normality, regression, ANOVA, and t-tests. The results showed that MBG implementation had a negative and significant effect on traders’ income, with an R² value of 0.115 and a regression equation of Y = 38.147 − 0.347X. These findings indicate that changes in food procurement through SPPG kitchens have reduced traditional market demand, resulting in decreased trader income. Therefore, more inclusive procurement policies involving traditional market traders are needed.
