Abstract

This study aims to instill the value of civic discipline among students with special needs at Special
Schools (SLB). Teachers play a crucial role in fostering discipline, as these students rely heavily on
guidance from educators. Discipline helps students understand established rules, complete tasks
systematically and on time, and serves as a fundamental foundation for success and harmonious living.
The specific objectives are to enhance students’ understanding of the importance of discipline in daily
life, teach them responsibility in all matters, and train their independence. The implementation method
includes four stages: preparation—covering understanding student characteristics, preparing teaching
materials, and necessary tools; implementation—delivering content in simple, accessible language;
evaluation—conducted together with companion teachers; and follow-up—providing reinforcement
and motivation. The results show that students are able to comply with existing rules, understand the
material delivered by teachers, improve their skills, and build greater self-confidence.
