Penerapan Model Group Investigation (GI) Berbantuan Quizizz dalam Pembelajaran Ekonomi Kelas XI
Abstract
Abstract
This study was conducted with the aim of describing the implementation of the Group Investigation (GI) learning model combined with the use of Quizizz in Economics learning for eleventh-grade students at MA Al-Arqom Sarirejo. The background of this research was the low level of student participation during the learning process and the dominance of teacher-centered teaching methods. This study employed a qualitative descriptive approach. The research data were collected from teachers and students through observation, tests, open-ended questionnaires, and documentation. The findings revealed that the implementation of the Group Investigation (GI) model assisted by Quizizz was able to create a more participatory, communicative, and collaborative learning atmosphere. Students demonstrated greater learning interest during discussions, in expressing opinions, and while completing evaluations using Quizizz. In addition, students’ learning outcomes also improved, as indicated by posttest scores that were higher than the pretest scores. Students’ responses toward the learning process were generally positive because the learning activities were considered more interesting, enjoyable, and easier to understand. Therefore, the Group Investigation (GI) learning model assisted by Quizizz can be used as an alternative strategy to improve the quality of Economics learning.
