Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak penggunaan GeoGebra sebagai media pembelajaran terhadap kemampuan literasi matematika siswa pada geometri kelas VIII A MTs Miftahul Huda Dander Bojonegoro. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pra-eksperimen tipe One Group pretest-posttest. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 25 siswa yang dipilih melalui teknik clauster Random Sampling. Instrumen berupa tes uraian berbasis kerangka PISA 2022 yang menilai tiga aspek literasi matematika: Formulate, Employ, dan Interpret. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji normalitas Shapario-wilk, uji homogenitas F-test, uji t berpasangan, serta perhitungan effect size menggunakan Cohen’s. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata skor meningkat dari 48,48 pretest dab 78,28 posttest, dengan selisih 29,80. Poin nilai t hitung sebesar 7,754 lebih besar dari pada t tabel 2,064(α = 0,05), dan Cohen’s sebesar 1,824 menunjukkan efek besar. Dengan demikian, penggunaan Geogebra terbukti memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan literasi matematika siswa pada materi geometri

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of GeoGebra application-based learning media on students' mathematical literacy skills in geometry material in class VIII A MTs Miftahul Huda Dander Bojonegoro. The study used a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental research type and a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The subjects of the study were 25 students of class VIII A MTs Miftahul Huda Dander Bojonegoro in the 2025/2026 academic year and were selected through Cluster Random Sampling techniques from two available classes. The research instrument was a descriptive test based on the PISA 2022 framework that measures three aspects of mathematical literacy, namely Formulate, Employ, and Interpret. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, normality tests with the Shapiro-Wilk Test, homogeneity tests with the F test, Paired Samples t-test, and effect size calculations using the Cohen's d formula. The results showed that the average pretest score of 48.48 increased to 78.28 in the posttest with an increase of 29.80 points. The results of the Paired Samples t-test showed a calculated t value of 7.754, which is greater than the t table of 2.064 at a significance level of α = 0.05, so H₁ is accepted. Cohen's d value of 1.824 indicates a large effect. It is concluded that the use of the GeoGebra application has a significant effect on improving students' mathematical literacy skills in geometry material.
