Pengaruh Literasi Keuangan dan Penggunaan E Wallet Dana Terhadap Perilaku Overspending Gen Z
Abstrak
This study aims to determine the effect of financial literacy and the use of the DANA e-wallet on overspending behavior among Generation Z in Bojonegoro Regency. The study used a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed via Google Forms to 100 respondents from Generation Z who use the DANA e-wallet in Bojonegoro Regency. The results showed that financial literacy did not have a significant effect on overspending behavior, while the use of the DANA e-wallet had a positive and significant effect on overspending behavior. Simultaneously, both variables also had a significant effect on overspending behavior. The findings indicate that transaction convenience, cashback promotions, and digital payment systems can encourage consumptive behavior among Generation Z. This study is expected to serve as a reference for understanding Generation Z’s overspending behavior and the importance of self-control in using the DANA e-wallet
