Abstract
This study aims to determine the influence of financial knowledge and self-control on the financial management behavior of students at IKIP PGRI Bojonegoro. The research employed a quantitative approach using an explanatory research method. The population consisted of 1,611 students, with a sample of 139 respondents selected using the Slovin formula and proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale and analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics 27. The results showed that financial knowledge did not have a significant effect on students’ financial management behavior, with a significance value of 0.886 > 0.05. Meanwhile, self-control had a positive and significant effect on financial management behavior, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Simultaneously, financial knowledge and self-control significantly influenced students’ financial management behavior, as indicated by an F-value of 72.870 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. The coefficient of determination of 51.7% indicates that financial management behavior is influenced by these two variables, while the remaining 48.3% is affected by other factors outside this study.
