Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine how trust and financial literacy affect students at IKIP PGRI Bojonegoro's interest in investing in the Bibit app. Students who use or are familiar with the Bibit app were asked to complete surveys as part of this study's quantitative survey procedure. Multiple linear regression was then used to evaluate the data. The study's findings show that financial literacy significantly and favorably influences students' interest in investing since it increases their awareness and confidence when making financial decisions. Additionally, trust has a good and significant impact; investment interest is fueled by faith in the security, legitimacy, and openness of the Bibit application. These two factors have a substantial simultaneous impact on students' interest in investing. These results demonstrate that boosting younger people's interest in investing is mostly dependent on raising financial literacy and bolstering confidence in digital investment platforms.
