Abstract

In junior high school instruction, particularly in the context of Society 5.0, which emphasizes student-centered and technology-integrated learning, the lack of economic understanding among pupils has grown to be a significant problem. In their economics classes, around half of the ninth graders at SMP Plus Al-Maliki Bojonegoro failed to achieve the KKM score of 70. The goal of this research was to see if the implementation of the Discovery Learning model, which is supported by Quizizz interactive media, improves students' learning outcomes in economics. The Kemmis and McTaggart model, which has two cycles of planning, action, observation, and reflection phases, served as the basis for the study's CAR methodology. In this study, 16 ninth graders from SMP Plus Al-Maliki Bojonegoro were selected as the subjects using saturated sampling techniques. Documentation, questionnaires, observation, and pre- and post-test evaluations were the data-gathering techniques used. The data were analyzed using N-Gain calculations and descriptive statistical analysis. The findings indicated a significant improvement in students' academic achievement. The average score increased from 65.31 during the pre-cycle phase to 75.93 during Cycle I and 86.25 during Cycle II as classical learning completeness increased from 50% to 100%. The implementation of Discovery Learning, which was supported by Quizizz and led to a dynamic, engaging, and enjoyable learning atmosphere, increased students' participation and understanding of economics topics.
