Implementasi Model Cooperative Learning Tipe Picture and Picture dalam Internalisasi Nilai Patriotisme
Abstract
This study was conducted because ninth-grade students at SMP N 1 Ngasem still showed a low understanding of patriotism values. The study aimed to examine the implementation and evaluation of the picture and picture cooperative learning model in supporting the internalization of patriotism values among students. The researcher used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis involved data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The findings showed that: (1) The implementation of the picture and picture cooperative learning model in class IX-E during Pancasila Education lessons was carried out through several stages: a) the teacher briefly explained the material; b) divided students into groups; c) distributed random pictures; d) guided students in discussing the sequence of the pictures; e) asked each group to present the discussion results. (2) The evaluation showed positive student responses, as students were enthusiastic and actively participated during the lesson; the model also positively influenced student behavior, including improved discipline during flag ceremonies, wearing neat and complete uniforms, and showing responsibility as ceremony attendants; in addition, most students paid attention throughout the learning process and listened carefully to the teacher’s explanations during classroom activities consistently.
