Pengaruh Model Discovery Learning Berbasis Etnomatematika Berbantuan Alat Kesenian Hadrah Terhadap Hasil Belajar Matematika

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengkaji pengaruh model Discovery Learning berbasis etnomatematika berbantuan alat kesenian hadrah terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa. Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain kuasi eksperimen yakni One Group Pretest-Posttest yang dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas VIII UPT SMP Negeri 1 Soko semester genap tahun ajaran 2025/2026. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan Probabilitas Sampling yaitu Cluster Random Sampling, terpilih kelas VIII A untuk sampel penelitian. Pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui observasi, dokumentasi, serta tes (pretest dan posttest) yang telah memenuhi uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji tingkat kesukaran, dan uji daya pembeda. Teknik analisis data mencakup uji normalitas dan uji hipotesis dengan Paired Sample t-Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Lhitung lebih kecil dari Ltabel maka hipotesis nol diterima, artinya data berdistribusi normal serta hasil uji hipotesis menunjukan nilai signifikansi maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Hal ini berarti terdapat pengaruh model Discovery Learning berbasis etnomatematika berbantuan alat kesenian hadrah terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa. Model pembelajaran ini juga mampu memacu partisipasi aktif dan pemahaman siswa secara konstektual. Kesimpulannya hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Discovery Learning berbasis etnomatematika berbantuan alat kesenian hadrah memberikan pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa. Sehingga, model tersebut dapat dipertimbangkan menjadi salah satu model pembelajaran yang efektif untuk diterapkan di sekolah.

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of an ethnomathematics-based Discovery Learning model, supported by hadrah art instruments, on students’ mathematics learning outcomes. This study employs a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design, specifically a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design, conducted with eighth-grade students at UPT SMP Negeri 1 Soko during the second semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. The sampling method used Probability Sampling, specifically Cluster Random Sampling, with eighth-grade class A selected as the research sample. Data collection was obtained through observation, documentation, and tests (pretest and posttest) that had met validity, reliability, difficulty level, and discriminant power tests. Data analysis techniques included a normality test and a hypothesis test using the Paired Sample t-Test. The results showed that Lhitung was smaller than Ltabel, so the null hypothesis was accepted, meaning the data were normally distributed. Furthermore, the hypothesis test results showed a significance value of ,so H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. This indicates that the ethnomathematics based Discovery Learning model, supported by hadrah musical instruments, has an impact on students’ mathematics learning outcomes. This learning model is also capable of stimulating students’ active participation and contextual understanding. In conclusion, the research results indicate that the implementation of the ethnomathematics-based Discovery Learning model supported by hadrah musical instruments has an impact on students’ mathematics learning outcomes. Therefore, this model can be considered as one of the effective learning models to be implemented in schools.
