Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Jenis Jigsaw Berbantuan Aplikasi Wayground terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Matematis Siswa MTs

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan bertujuan untuk menganalisis serta mengetahui sejauh mana pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw yang didukung oleh penggunaan aplikasi Wayground terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa di MTs Islamiyah Unggulan Balen pada tahun ajaran 2025/2026. Dianalisis melalui penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan Quasi Experimental Design. Semua siswa di kelas VII yang berjumlah 160 siswa dijadikan populasi penelitian. Sampel dipilih menggunakan metode purposive sampling , meliputi 30 siswa di kelas VII C sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 30 siswa di kelas VII E sebagai kelas kontrol. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, tes dan dokumentasi, sedangkan pengukuran kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis dilakukan menggunakan instrumen tes essay. Teknik validasi instrument mencakup uji validitas Aiken’s, uji reliabilitas Alpha Cronbach, uji tingkat kesukaran, serta uji daya pembeda. Teknik analisis data diawali dengan pengujian prasayarat pretest berupa uji normalitas Liliefors, uji homogenitas Fisher, dan uji keseimbangan dengan uji-t. Pada tahap postest, dilakukan Kembali uji normalitas dan homogenitas sebelum pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji-t. Berdasarkan hasil analisis menunjukkan nilai thitung > ttabel = 2,204 > 2,002 sehingga H0 ditolak. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif jenis jigsaw yang dipadukan dengan bantuan aplikasi Wayground memberikan pengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa, sehingga penerapan model tersebut dapat mendukung proses pembelajaran matematika secara lebih efektif dan
interaktif.

Abstract
This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing and determining the extent of influence of the implementation of the jigsaw type cooperative learning model supported by the Wayground application, on improving the mathematical critical thinking skills of the students enrolled at MTs Islamiyah Unggulan Balen for the 2025/2026 school year. Analysed through quantitative research using a quasi-experimental design. All 160 Year 7 students constituted the study population. The sample was selected using purposive sampling, comprising 30 students from Class VII C as the experimental group and 30 students from Class VII E as the control group. Research data were obtained through observation, tests and documentation, whilst the measurement of mathematical critical thinking skills was conducted using an essay test instrument. Instrument validation techniques included Aiken’s validity test, Cronbach’s alpha reliability test, difficulty level test, and discriminant power test. Data analysis began with pretest prerequisite testing comprising the Liliefors normality test, Fisher’s homogeneity test, and balance testing using the t-test. In the post-test stage, normality
and homogeneity tests were conducted again before hypothesis testing using the t-test. The results of the analysis showed that tcalculated > ttable = 2,204 > 2,002, so H0 was rejected. The results of this study indicate that the use of the jigsaw cooperative learning model combined with the assistance of the Wayground application has an influence on students’ mathematical critical thinking skills, so that the application of this model can support the mathematics learning process more effectively and interactively.
