Abstrak
Kajian ini bermaksud untuk mengulas kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa dalam mengurai persoalan pada materi aritmatika sosial. Pikir kreatif menjadi modal esensial yang memungkinkan siswa melahirkan terobosan solusi yang variatif dan baru saat menghadapi masalah finansial sehari-hari. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Fokus riset diarahkan pada 30 siswa kelas VII MTs Islamiyah Unggulan Balen yang ditentukan lewat teknik purposive sampling yang membagi siswa ke dalam tiga tingkatan kemampuan (tinggi, sedang, dan rendah). Data primer dihimpun lewat tes uraian untuk mengukur daya kreatif matematis. Lembar tes tersebut disusun dengan merujuk pada empat aspek berpikir kreatif, yaitu fluency (kelancaran), flexibility (keluwesan), originality (keaslian), dan elaboration (kerincian). Selanjutnya, teknik pemrosesan data mengadopsi model Miles & Huberman melalui langkah pemadatan data, display data, serta penarikan inferensi. Temuan riset mengindikasikan bahwa aspek fluency (kelancaran) mendominasi dengan skor tertinggi sebesar 56,83%, kemudian disusul oleh elaboration (kerincian) senilai 54,17%, flexibility (keluwesan) sebanyak 50%, serta aspek originality (keaslian) sebagai indikator paling lemah di angka 37,33%. Di sisi lain, sebaran kemampuan siswa memperlihatkan bahwa 6 siswa (20%) telah masuk dalam kategori tinggi, 18 (60%) berada di kategori sedang, dan 6 (20%) sisanya menempati kategori rendah.

Abstract
This study aims to examine the profile of students’ mathematical creative thinking in solving problems on social arithmetic material. Creative reasoning becomes an essential asset that enables students to generate various and novel solution breakthroughs when facing everyday financial problems. This research design employed a descriptive qualitative approach. The focus of the study was directed at 30 seventh-grade students of MTs Islamiyah Unggulan Balen who were determined through purposive sampling techniques that divided students into three levels of ability (high, moderate, and low). Primary data were collected through essay tests to measure mathematical creative thinking abilities. The test sheets were designed by referring to four aspects of creative thinking, namely fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. Furthermore, the data processing technique adopted the Miles & Huberman model through the stages of data condensation, data display, and inference drawing. The findings of the study indicate that the fluency aspect dominated with the highest score of 56.83%, followed by the elaboration component at 54.17%, flexibility at 50%, and the originality aspect as the weakest indicator at 37.33%. On the other hand, the distribution of students’ abilities showed that 6 students (20%) had entered the high category, 18 students (60%) were in the moderate category, and the remaining 6 students (20%) occupied the low category.
