Abstract

The implementation of the inquiry-based learning model supported by the Lumio by SMART platform demonstrates an increase in student learning activity by creating a more interactive, participatory, and student-centered learning environment. Various features, such as collaborative spaces, digital quizzes, educational games, and real-time assessments, encourage active student engagement during Economics lessons. Students are guided to develop active abilities through independent investigation, group discussions, contextual problem-solving, and systematic presentation of findings. This study applied a quantitative approach through a quasi-experimental design with a non equivalent control group design. Questionnaires, direct observation, tests, and documentation were utilized as instruments to collect the research data. Based on the hypothesis testing results, the decision to reject H0and accept H1was made because the obtained Asymp. Sig. value (0.000) was lower than the significance level of 0.05. In addition, the learning activity score of students in the experimental group proved to be higher (79.03) when compared to the control group (65.06).
