Efektivitas Media Escape Room Learning Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Pendidikan Pancasila
Abstract
“This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in Pancasila Education subjects due to conventional learning. The study aims to determine the effectiveness of Escape Room Learning media on the learning outcomes of eighth-grade students at SMPN 2 Jatirogo. The study used a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design of the One Group Pretest–Posttest Design model. The research sample consisted of 32 students of class VIII G selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques were carried out through tests, observations, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis used normality, homogeneity, validity, reliability, N-Gain, and Paired Sample t-Test tests with the help of IBM SPSS Statistics. The results showed that the average student score increased from 64.53 in the pre-test to 94.06 in the post-test. The N-Gain value of 0.8471 is included in the high category with an effectiveness level of 84.70%. The results of the Paired Sample t-Test showed a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, so there was a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test scores. Thus, Escape Room Learning media is effective in improving student learning outcomes.”
