Filosofis Langen Tayub pada Sedekah Bumi Dewi Sri sebagai Pengembangan Civic Culture
Abstract
This research focuses on the Langen Tayub art form as a form of traditional culture that embodies civic values in the lives of the people of Kumpulrejo Village, Parengan District, Tuban Regency. The background of this research is based on the importance of preserving local culture amidst the development of modernization that is increasingly influencing people's lives. This study aims to determine the philosophical values contained in the Langen Tayub art form and its role in the development of Civic Culture in Kumpulrejo Village. The research method used is qualitative, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Informants in this study consisted of village officials, Langen Tayub Art Leaders, traditional leaders, Pengrawit (traditional music performers), flight attendants, Pengibbing (traditional music performers), and Waranggono (traditional music performers). The results indicate that the Langen Tayub art form contains ethical, aesthetic, and spiritual values reflected in the performance process and community interactions. This art form also serves as a medium for preserving regional culture and strengthening the cultural identity of the Kumpulrejo Village community.
