Pengembangan Tutor Virtual Berbasis Artificial Intelligence Untuk Meningkatkan Kemandirian Belajar Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran Informasi

Perkembangan Artificial Intelligence (AI) telah memberikan peluang baru dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran yang lebih adaptif, interaktif, dan berpusat pada peserta didik. Namun, proses pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran Informasi di Mts masih menghadapi berbagai kendala, seperti keterbatasan pendampingan belajar di luar jam pelajaran, rendahnya kemandirian belajar siswa, serta belum optimalnya pemanfaatan teknologi sebagai tutor belajar yang mampu memberikan umpan balik secara langsung. Kondisi tersebut mengakibatkan peserta didik masih bergantung pada guru ketika mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami materi pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan Tutor Virtual berbasis Artificial Intelligence yang dapat mendukung peningkatan kemandirian belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Informasi. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation, serta dipadukan dengan pendekatan Mixed Method. Produk yang dikembangkan berupa aplikasi Tutor Virtual berbasis AI yang menyediakan materi pembelajaran, layanan tanya jawab berbasis AI, latihan adaptif, umpan balik otomatis, serta pemantauan perkembangan belajar siswa. Kelayakan produk dievaluasi melalui validasi ahli media dan ahli materi, sedangkan kepraktisan dan kebermanfaatannya diuji melalui respon guru dan peserta didik. Hasil penelitian diharapkan menghasilkan media pembelajaran yang valid, praktis, dan efektif dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran serta meningkatkan kemandirian belajar siswa melalui pengalaman belajar yang lebih personal, fleksibel, dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan masing-masing peserta didik.

Abstract
The rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has created new opportunities for developing learning media that are more adaptive, interactive, and student-centered. However, the learning process in Information subjects at Islamic junior high schools still faces several challenges, including limited learning assistance outside classroom hours, low student self-regulated learning, and the underutilization of technology as an intelligent learning companion capable of providing immediate feedback. As a result, students remain highly dependent on teachers when encountering learning difficulties. This study aimed to develop an Artificial Intelligence-based Virtual Tutor to improve students' self-regulated learning in Information subjects. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model consisting of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages combined with a Mixed Method approach. The developed product was an AI-based virtual tutoring application providing learning materials, intelligent question-answering services, adaptive exercises, automatic feedback, and learning progress monitoring. The product feasibility was evaluated through expert validation involving media and subject matter experts, while its practicality and usefulness were assessed through teacher and student responses. The expected outcome of this study is a valid, practical, and effective learning medium capable of supporting the learning process and enhancing students' self-regulated learning through personalized, flexible, and adaptive learning experiences.
