Pengaruh Model PjBL Menggunakan E-book Kontekstual Terhadap Hasil Belajar Matematika

Tujuan dari studi ini yakni untuk melihat pengaruh model PjBL menggunakan e-book kontekstual terhadap hasil belajar matematika bahasan statistika. Rendahnya hasil belajar dikarenakan proses pembelajaran masih dikuasai oleh penerapan model pembelajaran tradisional yang berpacu pada pengajar dan kurangnya penggunaan media yang kontekstual. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan model pembelajaran yang mendukung siswa untuk berpartisipasi secara aktif dalam proses belajar dan menggunakan media yang efektif. Studi ini menerapkan metodologi kuantitatif dengan one group pre-test post-test design. Semua siswa kelas VIII MTs Walisongo Sugihwaras menjadi populasi penelitian. Siswa kelas VIII A menjadi sampel penelitian. Instrumen tes terdiri atas 5 soal uraian untuk mengukur hasil belajar matematika materi statistika dengan memuat indikator fluency, flexibility, originality dan elaboration. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes. Hasil tes dianalisis dengan menerapkan uji normalitas dan uji-t untuk mengetahui dampak perlakuan yang diberikan. Hasil pengujian t-test sampel berpasangan menunjukkan bahwa nilai thitung (32,491) < ttabel (2,017) maka H0 ditolak. Jadi, kesimpulannya model PjBL yang menggunakan e-book kontekstual memiliki pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar matematika bahasan statistika.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of the PjBL model using contextual e-books on learning outcomes in mathematics, specifically in the area of statistics. Low learning outcomes are attributed to the fact that the learning process is still dominated by the application of traditional, teacher-centered learning models and a lack of contextual media. Therefore, a learning model is needed that supports students in actively participating in the learning process and utilizing effective media. This study employed a quantitative methodology using a one-group pre-test post-test design. All eighth-grade students at MTs Walisongo Sugihwaras served as the study population. Eighth- grade Class A students served as the research sample. The test instrument consisted of 5 essay questions to measure learning outcomes in mathematics (statistics) covering the indicators of fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. Data collection was conducted through the test. Test results were analyzed by applying a normality test and a t-test to determine the impact of the treatment administered. The results of the paired t-test showed that the calculated t-value (32.491) was less than the critical t-value (2.017), so H0 was rejected. Therefore, the conclusion is that the PjBL model using contextual e-books has an effect on mathematics learning outcomes in the statistics topic.
