Analisis Psikologi Tokoh Utama pada Novel Pukul Setengah Lima Karya Rintik Sendu serta Hubungannya dengan Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMA

Abstract—The aim of this research is to find out, understand, describe and analyze the form of humanistic literary psychological needs of the main character in the novel At Half Five by Rintik Sendu which is studied through Abraham Maslow's theory of needs. So this scientific study will be linked to the relationship between Indonesian language learning in high school. The strategy or method for reviewing this research uses a qualitative descriptive method, namely looking for narrative quotes that are relevant to the targeted research. The qualitative method itself produces interesting information in the form of words that are arranged or expressed. The long-term impact of this research proves that the inner conflict of the main character named Alina has anxiety in the form of sadness and doubt because she feels guilty for lying to Danu. Meanwhile, in the theoretical review, the psychological approach to literature is examined through Abraham Maslow's psychological needs. Meanwhile, the results of the analysis of the relationship between the novel At Half Five by Rintik Sedu and Indonesian language learning in high school found that the study of the characteristics of the main character can be used as Indonesian language teaching material at high school level, especially class 3.9 "Analyzing the content and language of the novel" and then developed into the IPK teaching material. high school literature.
