Pengaruh Motivasi Belajar Terhadap Hasil Belajar Matematika Siswa di UPT SMP Negeri 2 Tambakboyo Kabupaten Tuban

Pendidikan merupakan sebuah proses dengan metode-metode ertentu, sehingga prang akan memperoleh pengetahuan, pemahaman dan cara bertingkah laku yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Permasalahan yang sering muncul dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa, khususnya pada pelajaran matematika. Hal ini disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi proses belajar siswa. Salah satunya adalah konflik atau masalah yang datang pada diri siswa. Setelah melakukan studi pendahuluan di UPT SMP Negeri 2 Tambakboyo Kabupaten Tuban, ternyata matematika adalah pelajaran yang tidak disenangi oleh siswa, selain motivasi siswa masih tergolong kurang untuk mengikuti kegiatan belajar dikelas. Berdasarkan latar belakang diatas peneliti membuat rumusan masalah yaitu apakah ada pengaruh motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa di UPT SMP Negeri 2 Tambakboyo. Rumusan masalah tersebut yang dialami langsung oleh UPT SMP Negeri 2 Tambakboyo yang dibicaran oleh guru pengampu matematika. Pada penelitian ini, penuli menggunakan metode regresi linier sederhana. Berdasarkan uji signifikansi dan uji signifikansi koefisien persamaan regresi, diketahui bahwa variabel (X) berpengaruh positif dan signifikasi terhadap (Y). Hal ini berarti motivasi belajar mempengaruhi hasil belajar matematika siswa UPT SMP Negeri 2 Tambakboyo secara positif dan signifikansi.  Tingkat keeratan hubungan dari kedua variabel berada pada kategori sangat kuat. Besar pengaruh motivasi beajar terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa UPT SMP Negeri 2 Tambakboyo sebesar . Sedangkan pengaruh faktor lain terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa UPT SMP Negeri 2 Tambakboyo sebesar

Abstract

Education is a process with certain methods, so that people will acquire knowledge, understanding and ways of behaving according to their needs. A problem that often arises in teaching and learning activities is low student learning outcomes, especially in mathematics. This is caused by several factors that influence the student learning process. One of them is conflict or problems that arise within the students. After conducting a preliminary study at the UPT SMP Negeri 2 Tambakboyo, Tuban Regency, it turned out that mathematics was a subject that was not liked by students, in addition to students' motivation was still relatively lacking to participate in learning activities in class. Based on the background above, the researcher formulated the problem, namely whether there is an influence of learning motivation on student mathematics learning outcomes at UPT SMP Negeri 2 Tambakboyo. The problem formulation was directly experienced by UPT SMP Negeri 2 Tambakboyo, which was discussed by the mathematics teacher. In this study, the author used a simple linear regression method. Based on the significance test and the significance test of the regression equation coefficient, it was known that variable (X) had a positive and significant effect on (Y). This means that learning motivation positively and significantly influences the mathematics learning outcomes of students at UPT SMP Negeri 2 Tambakboyo. The relationship between the two variables is considered very strong. The effect of learning motivation on mathematics learning outcomes of students at UPT SMP Negeri 2 Tambakboyo is . Meanwhile, the influence of other factors on mathematics learning outcomes of students at UPT SMP Negeri 2 Tambakboyo is .
