Abstract—A speech act is an understanding used by a speaker and a speech partner in their conversation. Locutionary acts are verbal expressions made to express something. Illocutionary speech acts are utterances that have a purpose beyond just saying or providing information, they can also be used to complete a task. The speaker's perlocutionary acts communicate meaning, and the interlocutor must consider this meaning in addition to the pragmatic connotation of the utterance.
