Mempersiapkan Generasi Muda: Peran Penting Guru Bahasa Indonesia dalam Keterampilan Abad-24 di SMKN 2 Bojonegoro

Abstract—Indonesian is the official language of the country of Indonesia, Indonesian must be used for national education, one of the identities of the Indonesian nation is Indonesian. The benefits of learning Indonesian are: a) Instilling a spirit of patriotism/love for the country, b) expanding knowledge of the Indonesian language, c) making it easierto speak across ethnicities, races and regions. This research method uses a qualitative method, because this method is in the form of a narrative sourced from interviews, observations and excavating documents. This data collection technique uses the technique of listening, engaging and taking notes. The data analysis technique in this research uses content developed by Milles and Huberman. The results and discussion in this research are 1) there are several factors behind Mr. Taufik as a teacher at SMKN 2 Bojonegoro, 2) Mr. Taufik’s response to the current independent curriculum, 3) the media used for learning in class, 4) the level of learning success in the classroom. The conclusion of this research is that the factors behind Mr Taufik becoming a teacher at SMKN 2 Bojonegoro itself have 2 factors, namely as follows: 1) he wants the Indonesian language to be better mastered and can enter outside Indonesia, and 2) students at SMKN 2 Bojonegoro are still find it difficult to write Indonesian. Mr. Taufik’s response regarding the independent curriculum which is currently being implemented in schools has received praise, although its implementation has not been optimal due to the lack of knowledge and understanding from the wider community about this curriculum. The media used by Mr. Taufik as an Indonesian language teacher at SMKN 2 Bojonegoro in conducting classroom learning is through power points and reading books using tools in the form of an LCD. According to Mr. Taufik, success in learning can be seen from what is planned and then evaluated.
