Media Sosial Pendukung No 1 Pembelajaran Di Era Society 5.0

Abstract

Abstrak—Pada zaman saat ini, tidak bisa dipungkiri lagi bahwa kehidupan manusia saat ini sangat berhubungan dengan Media Sosial. Media sosial memegang peranan krusial di hampir segala lini masyarakat. Kehadiran media sosial di tengah masyarakat era sekarang sudah memberikan manfaat yang sangat besar, terlebih lagi di era pandemi saat ini. Media sosial relatif membantu dalam menghapus jarak antar manusia, sehingga sangat efektif untuk mempersingkat waktu pada berkomunikasi. Fungsi dari media sosial tentunya ialah untuk berkomunikasi. Sebelum berkembang seperti saat ini, media sosial pada awalnya hanya berfokus pada membentuk ekosistem komunikasi yang baik bagi penggunanya. Tetapi, seiring dengan berkembangnya internet serta teknologi, media sosial lebih dari komunikasi, selain telah menjadi dunia kedua bagi manusia, media sosial juga merambah ke dunia pendidikan. Apalagi sekarang di masa pandemic saat ini, dunia pendidikan terutama sekolah maupun perguruan tinggi menggunakan bantuan media sosial. Di era society 5.0 media sosial sangat dibutuhkan guna membantu kreatifitas para pelajar guna memajukan kualitas Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM), selain itu dituntut untuk mampu berpikir kritis, bernalar, kreatif, komunikatif, kolaboratif, serta memiliki kemampuan problem solving. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian yang bersifat deskriptif dan cenderung menggunakan analisis. Proses dan makna lebih ditonjolkan dalam penelitian kualitatif. Landasan teori dimanfaatkan sebagai pemandu agar fokus penelitian sesuai dengan fakta di lapangan. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa dalam dunia pendidikan sangat perlu membutuhkan bantuan dari media sosial guna menunjang proses pembelajaran.

Abstract—In today's era, it is undeniable that human life today is closely related to Social Media. Social media plays a crucial role in almost all lines of society. The presence of social media in today's society has provided enormous benefits, especially in the current pandemic era. Social media is relatively helpful in removing the distance between people, so it is very effective in shortening the time to communicate. The function of social media, of course, is to communicate. Before developing as it is today, social media initially only focused on forming a good communication ecosystem for its users. However, along with the development of the internet and technology, social media is more than communication, besides having become a second world for humans, social media has also penetrated the world of education. Especially now during the current pandemic, the world of education, especially schools and universities, uses social media assistance. In the era of society 5.0, social media is very much needed to help students' creativity to advance the quality of Human Resources (HR), besides that they are required to be able to think critically, reason, be creative, communicative, collaborative, and have problem solving skills. This type of research uses a qualitative descriptive method. This research is descriptive and tends to use analysis. Process and meaning are highlighted in qualitative research. The theoretical basis is used as a guide so that the research focus is in accordance with the facts on the ground. From this study, it can be concluded that in the world of education, it is very necessary to need assistance from social media to support the learning process.
