Uji Validitas dan Reliabilitas Instrumen Penelitian Tingkat Pemahaman Materi Teks Pidato

Abstract


Validitas dan Reliabilitas alat ukur dalam penelitian dilakukan dengan cara elemen krusial untuk memastikan bahwa instrumen yang digunakan mampu memberikan hasil yang tepat dan konsisten. Tujuan utama membuat instrumen yang sah dan dapat diandalkan untuk menilai pemahaman siswa tentang materi teks pidato. Penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dan melibatkan dua guru sebagai validator instrumen dan siswa kelas VII pada sekolah SMPN 3 Bojonegoro sebagai uji coba instrumen tes. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya uji validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen untuk menilai pemahaman siswa terhadap teks pidato. Dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, instrumen yang dikembangkan melibatkan dua guru sebagai validator dan siswa kelas VII SMPN 3 Bojonegoro sebagai subjek. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar item soal memiliki validitas sangat tinggi, dan skor reliabilitas Cronbach's Alpha mencapai 0,838, menandakan keandalan instrumen. Diharapkan instrumen ini dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran siswa dan pemahaman mereka tentang materi pidato.

Abstract— Validity and reliability of measurement tools in research are carried out through crucial elements to ensure that the instruments used can provide accurate and consistent results. The main objective is to create a valid and reliable instrument to assess students' understanding of speech text material. This research is quantitative and involves two teachers as test instrument validators and seventh-grade students at SMPN 3 Bojonegoro as test instrument trial subjects. This research emphasizes the importance of validity and reliability testing of the instrument to assess students' understanding of speech texts. With a quantitative approach, the developed instrument involves two teachers as validators and seventh-grade students at SMPN 3 Bojonegoro as subjects. The results show that most of the test items have very high validity, and the Cronbach's Alpha reliability score reached 0.838, indicating the instrument's reliability. It is hoped that this instrument can improve the quality of student learning and their understanding of speech material.
