Pengaruh Google Workspace terhadap Produktivitas Belajar Mahasiswa

Abstract

abstrak—Pemanfaatan teknologi digital dalam pembelajaran semakin penting untuk meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi belajar mahasiswa. Google Workspace menyediakan berbagai aplikasi yang mendukung aktivitas akademik, termasuk Google Docs, Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Meet, dan Google Form. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak penggunaan Google Workspace terhadap produktivitas belajar mahasiswa. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif dan inferensial untuk mengevaluasi kontribusi aplikasi Google Workspace terhadap manajemen tugas, kolaborasi, dan komunikasi akademik. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Google Docs memfasilitasi mahasiswa dalam menulis dan berkolaborasi secara real-time., Google Drive mendukung penyimpanan dan berbagi data secara efisien, sedangkan Gmail memfasilitasi komunikasi akademik yang lebih cepat dan terorganisir.  Google Workspace memiliki fitur aplikasi lainya yang bisa memberikan pengaruh positif dan signifikan dalam meningkatkan produktivitas belajar mahasiswa. Mahasiswa yang aktif menggunakan fitur-fitur Google Workspace secara konsisten memiliki manajemen waktu yang lebih baik, lebih mudah bekerja dalam kelompok, dan menyelesaikan tugas lebih cepat. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi teknologi berbasis cloud, seperti Google Workspace, dapat menjadi strategi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan efektivitas proses pengajaran di perguruan tinggi.

Abstract—The use of digital technology in education has become increasingly important to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of student learning. Google Workspace provides various applications that support academic activities, including Google Docs, Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Meet, and Google Forms. This study seeks to evaluate the influence of Google Workspace on students' learning productivity. The gathered data were evaluated both descriptively and inferentially to ascertain the degree to which Google Workspace facilitates work management,collaboration, and academic communication. The results demonstrate that Google Docs enables real-time writing.and collaboration, Google Drive supports efficient data storage and sharing, while Gmail enables faster and more organized academic communication. Other Google Workspace features also have a positive and significant influence on improving students’ learning productivity. Students who actively and consistently use Google Workspace features tend to have better time management, collaborate more effectively, and complete assignments more efficiently. These results suggest that integrating cloud-based technologies, such as Google Workspace, can be an effective strategy to enhance the teaching and learning process in higher education.
