Pengaruh Kemudahan, Kemanfaat, dan Kepercayaan Terhadap Niat Mahasiswa Gunakan E-Wallet
Abstract
Abstract
This study investigates the factors influencing the intention of students in the Economics Education Program at IKIP PGRI Bojonegoro to use e-wallets. Amidst the rapid growth of fintech, e-wallet adoption is crucial, yet understanding the driving factors among students remains limited. This quantitative research employs a survey of 73 students, with multiple linear regression analysis to test the influence of perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and trust. The results reveal that perceived ease of use (β = 0.251, p < 0.05) and trust (β = 0.342, p < 0.05) significantly increase the intention to use e-wallets. Interestingly, perceived usefulness does not show a significant influence (p > 0.05). Simultaneously, these three factors are significant in predicting usage intention (F = 18.528, p < 0.001), with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.446. These findings imply that e-wallet providers need to prioritize user-friendly design and build trust through security and transparency. Educational institutions also play a vital role in enhancing students' digital literacy. This research contributes to the understanding of technology adoption behavior among young generations, with practical implications for developing effective fintech strategies.
